With decades of devoted experience and a genuinely nurturing touch, Dr. Nancy Shelton is passionate about providing exceptional, patient-centered dental care. A proud graduate of the Loma Linda School of Dentistry (Class of 1975), she combines clinical expertise with a true love for dentistry—and a special flair for cosmetics that helps every patient shine with confidence.
For Dr. Shelton, caring for teeth goes hand in hand with caring for people. Guided by her faith as the center of her life, her ultimate goal is simple yet profound: that every person who walks through her doors feels welcomed, valued, and blessed both as they come in and as they go out. She always puts her patients' best interests first, taking the time to listen and tailor her care to their unique needs.
Outside the office, Dr. Shelton has a deeply compassionate heart for her community, especially when it comes to giving back to those in need. When she isn't transforming smiles, her greatest joy comes from spending precious time with her wonderful family—her children, daughters-in-law, and her sweet little grandbaby.

Dr. Alfred Ong
Dentist
Dr. Alfred Ong earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry and is passionate about providing comfortable, personalized care for every patient. He believes that going to the dentist should be an experience where patients feel listened to, comfortable, and confident in their care. His goal is not only to help patients maintain excellent oral health, but also to help them feel proud and confident in their smiles.
Dr. Ong particularly enjoys Invisalign treatments, root canal therapy, implant surgery, and cosmetic cases. He takes the time to explain treatment options and make sure his patients understand and feel comfortable with their care every step of the way. He especially enjoys seeing how Invisalign can transform a patient’s smile and confidence. He brings that same sense of curiosity, care, and attention to detail into his work with every patient.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Ong enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his dog. He loves hiking, cycling, exploring new places, and taking road trips, as well as traveling to California to spend time with his family, especially his nephew and niece.
Monica
Office Manager
With more than 21 years of experience in the dental field, Monica brings extensive knowledge, dedication, and a genuine passion for helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. As Office Manager at Downtown Dental, Monica plays an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and patient-centered environment for both patients and the dental team.
Throughout her career, Monica has developed a deep understanding of the many aspects of dental care and practice management. She takes pride in making each patient’s experience as smooth and positive as possible—from the moment they walk through the door to helping them understand their treatment, appointments, and financial options.
Monica believes that excellent dental care goes beyond the clinical experience. Building trust, listening to patients, and treating every person with kindness and respect are at the heart of how she approaches her work.
As a leader, Monica is passionate about supporting her team and helping create a practice where patients and staff feel valued. She is committed to maintaining the high standards of care and personal attention that make Downtown Dental a place patients can feel comfortable calling their dental home.
Outside of the office, Monica enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her children’s activities. She also has a passion for serving her community and building meaningful connections with the people around her.
Monica is grateful for the opportunity to have spent more than two decades in a profession centered around helping people and looks forward to continuing to care for the families and patients of Downtown Dental for many years to come.
Sarah
Dental Hygienist

Sarah graduated from dental hygiene school in 2008 and spent ten years working full-time before moving to her current part-time role. For Sarah, dental hygiene is about patient connection and education. Teaching is her passion, and she finds it incredibly rewarding to show her patients how to have a healthier mouth and body.

Outside the office, Sarah leads a very busy life homeschooling her two daughters and managing her family farm. A true nature lover, she loves spending her free time gardening, bird watching, and backpacking through the beautiful Wallowa Mountains.Â

Beatrice
Office Receptionist
My name is Beatrice, and I have been working in the dental field for the past six years. As a member of the front desk team, I truly enjoy helping patients feel welcomed and cared for, while also having the opportunity to meet new people every day.
I recently joined the Downtown Dental family because I share their vision of providing patients with a positive and caring experience. I am passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their dental journey.
Outside of work, I am a proud mom of two and a loving wife. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. We enjoy going to the park, watching movies, or simply relaxing in our backyard with our dogs. Family time is something I truly treasure, and I am grateful to bring that same sense of care and compassion into my work with our patients.
Vida
Dental Assistant
Vida has been part of the Downtown Dental team for the past four years. She graduated from Charter College in 2015 and recently completed the EFDA program, further expanding her skills and knowledge in dentistry.
Vida is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles. She enjoys creating a positive experience for every patient and takes pride in making their dental visits as comfortable as possible.
Outside of work, Vida loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys crafting and is always working on a new creative project. Her creativity, caring personality, and dedication to her patients make her a valued part of the Downtown Dental team.
Eileen
Dental Hygienist
Eileen Kelley is a Registered Dental Hygienist with nearly a decade of experience in dentistry and a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and has experience working in private practice, periodontal care, and community health settings. In 2025 she applied to dental school and Pacific Northwest University and was accepted into the 2026 class but declined due to her obligation as a single mother.
Eileen believes that exceptional dental care goes beyond a thorough cleaning—it’s about educating patients, building trust, and creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and taking an active role in their oral health. She especially enjoys helping patients understand the connection between their oral health and overall well-being.
Outside of the dental office, Eileen enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, staying active through strength training, Pilates, and running, and giving back to the dental community through volunteering.
